I can build you a nice bed, designed and made locally, out of renewable NZ pine.
These slat beds are solid, practical, built to last, and sensibly designed.

Either finished in a lovely stain with varnish or oil, or painted, I can make Queen, King and Super King beds in these 2 rustic styles:

“Homestead” style

King size bed shown, with walnut stain/varnish/lacquer finish, also single with whitewash paint look. 
Single: $720
Queen: $820
King: $860
Super King: $950

“Wheatly” style

 Super King size shown, with stain/varnish finish. 
Queen: $470
King: $495
Super King: $545

“Wheatly” style

 King size shown, with satin black paint finish. 

I build to order, so allow approx. a fortnight for building. I am flexible with stain/varnish/oil/paint options, depending on your preferences,  and can use different colours of your choice, within reason.
